First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop autoimmune problems after receiving a type of immunotherapy called checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will analyze blood samples and health records from 600 adults with cancer who are prescribed these drugs. The goal is to find genetic and immune system patterns that predict these side effects, which could lead to safer treatments in the future.
