Summary

This study aims to understand how the upper throat and esophagus work together to prevent stomach contents from flowing back into the throat in people with GERD. Researchers will measure pressure and use video to detect when acid reaches the throat. The study involves 300 adults with GERD or asthma, with or without throat symptoms.
