Summary

This study looks at children aged 3 to 17 who have serious problem behaviors like aggression or self-injury. Researchers want to understand why some children's behavior gets worse at the very start of a common treatment called extinction. By observing 40 children, they hope to find ways to make treatment safer and more effective.
