Scientists use a 'drinkometer' to uncover secrets of eating after bariatric surgery
NCT ID NCT06538948
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to understand how people eat after weight-loss surgery by using a special device called a drinkometer. Researchers will measure tiny details of drinking behavior in 420 adults, including those who had surgery and those who did not. They also want to see if sex and gut hormone levels affect these eating patterns. The goal is to learn more about why surgery works, not to test a new treatment.
