Virtual reality sheds light on breathlessness in COPD
NCT ID NCT07568379
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares how COPD patients and healthy individuals experience breathlessness at rest, during exercise, and in virtual reality. Researchers will also test whether a placebo (high-flow nasal cannula) can change how breathlessness feels. The goal is to better understand the brain and body mechanisms behind this distressing symptom.
