Early-Stage trial tests new pill for untreated blood cancer

NCT ID NCT04163718

Summary

This study tested an investigational oral drug called umbralisib in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who had never received treatment before. The goal was to see how well the drug worked to control the cancer and how safe it was for patients. The trial was small and ended early, so full results are limited.
