Summary

This study tested whether giving oxytocin through the umbilical vein, along with standard care, could reduce blood loss after childbirth. 416 women having a vaginal delivery took part. The goal was to see if this extra step helps the placenta come out faster and lowers the chance of dangerous bleeding.
