Summary
This study compared two medications, carbetocin and oxytocin, to see which works better at preventing severe bleeding after an emergency C-section. It involved 300 women who were low-risk for bleeding and had an emergency C-section after starting labor. The main goal was to check changes in hemoglobin levels 24 hours after surgery.
