First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether infusions of cells from umbilical cord blood can help people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Thirty participants will receive either a low dose, high dose, or a placebo (salt water) through an IV once a week for four weeks, plus a fifth dose a month later. Researchers will track changes in thinking, daily living skills, and blood markers over six months to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
