NCT ID NCT07426679
First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of teaching anaesthesiologists to perform spinal anaesthesia: using ultrasound to find the right spot versus the traditional method of feeling for it. About 40 doctors will be trained and then tested on patients having leg surgery. The goal is to see if ultrasound leads to more successful first attempts and higher patient satisfaction.
