Summary

This early study tests whether a wearable ultrasound device can safely stimulate the retina and help restore vision in people with age-related macular degeneration or retinitis pigmentosa. Only 5 participants will receive short ultrasound pulses while reporting what they see. The main goal is safety, not yet proven vision improvement.
