Summary
This study aims to understand how blood flow to the kidneys and liver changes in adults seriously injured in accidents. Researchers will use bedside ultrasound scans on 350 patients in intensive care to see if certain blood flow patterns can predict who develops kidney problems or needs help breathing on a ventilator. No new treatments are given; the study only observes and measures to gather knowledge.
