Doctors use ultrasound to see inside healing shoulders after cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07166575
Summary
This study aims to understand how shoulder muscles change in oral cancer patients who have had neck surgery and are doing physical therapy. Researchers will use ultrasound imaging to measure muscle size and see how it relates to shoulder movement. The goal is to learn if ultrasound can be a useful tool to track recovery progress. The study will observe 10 patients who have recently had surgery.
