New ultrasound scan aims to spot radiation damage before it happens

Summary
This study is testing a special type of ultrasound imaging to see if it can detect early changes in vaginal tissue caused by a standard radiation treatment for endometrial cancer. The goal is to see if this imaging can predict which patients might develop side effects like vaginal dryness, soreness, or scarring. Researchers will enroll 10 patients who have had surgery for early-stage endometrial cancer and are scheduled to receive vaginal radiation.
