First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether applying therapeutic ultrasound to the patellar tendon (the tendon below the kneecap) can immediately improve how high you can jump. Forty healthy university students will either get real ultrasound or a fake (placebo) treatment. Researchers will measure jump height, leg strength, and knee awareness before and after the treatment to see if there's a difference.
