New ultrasound tech aims to sharpen brain surgery views

Summary

This study tests a new ultrasound system (SonoClear®) to see if it gives surgeons clearer images during brain tumor removal. About 15 adults with glioma will have ultrasound images taken with both the new system and standard saline. The goal is to reduce image noise and improve safety, with follow-up for up to 6 months.
