NCT ID NCT05845203
First seen Jun 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a portable ultrasound device can help paramedics quickly tell which type of stroke a person is having. The goal is to get patients to the right hospital faster—some need a clot-busting drug, others need a procedure to remove a large clot. The study included 60 healthy volunteers and stroke patients to see if the device is comfortable and gives useful information.
