Sound waves may boost arm recovery after stroke

Summary

This study tests a gentle ultrasound technique called LIFUS to see if it can improve arm movement and motor learning in people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago. Researchers will try different power levels and timing patterns to find the best settings. 24 adults with arm weakness will participate. The goal is to make rehabilitation more effective.
