New ultrasound technique could help surgeons spot hidden pituitary tumors

Summary
This study tests a new ultrasound method to help surgeons find pituitary tumors during surgery. Researchers will compare ultrasound images with MRI scans to see if the new technique can better identify tumors in people with Cushing's disease and other pituitary tumors. About 110 participants will be enrolled at Mayo Clinic. If successful, this could lead to more precise surgeries and better outcomes.
