Brain-Zapping ultrasound could help stubborn smokers quit

Summary
This study is testing whether a new, non-invasive ultrasound treatment can help heavy smokers quit when other methods have failed. Researchers will use low-intensity focused ultrasound to target specific brain areas linked to nicotine addiction. The study will enroll 100 adults who have smoked for 5+ years and tried quitting at least 3 times without success.
