Summary
This study looks at whether ultrasound can detect scarring (fibrosis) in the gut of people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will compare ultrasound images with tissue samples from colonoscopies to develop new, non-invasive ways to measure disease. The goal is to improve diagnosis and monitoring without relying solely on biopsies.
