First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is for people with HPV-positive oropharyngeal (throat) cancer who have had surgery to remove all visible tumors. Researchers want to see if a blood test that detects leftover cancer DNA can help decide who needs less intense chemotherapy and radiation afterward. The goal is to reduce side effects while still controlling the cancer. About 50 participants will be enrolled.
