One-Shot radiation blast tested for Hard-to-Treat liver tumors
NCT ID NCT06362395
Summary
This international study is testing if a single, very high dose of precisely targeted radiation is better than a standard high dose for treating tumors that have spread to the liver from other cancers. It will involve 114 patients and uses advanced MRI-guided technology to deliver the radiation. The goal is to see if this one-time treatment can better control the liver tumors while causing fewer side effects and maintaining quality of life.
