First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new, quickly-made CAR-T cell therapy for people with severe lupus that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and attack lupus-causing cells. The main goals are to see if it's safe and if it can reduce disease activity, aiming for long-term control without needing lifelong medication.
