NCT ID NCT05650411

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a new ultra-thin stent coated with a drug to keep arteries open, combined with a shorter course of two blood thinners (1-3 months) followed by just one blood thinner, in people with left main coronary artery disease. The goal is to see if this approach reduces major bleeding while still protecting against heart attacks and the need for repeat procedures. About 828 adults who have already received this stent will be randomly assigned to the shorter or standard 12-month dual antiplatelet therapy and followed for outcomes.
