Summary

This study tests a new drug called XmAb942 for people with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis, a condition that causes inflammation and sores in the colon. First, healthy volunteers will help check the drug's safety. Then, about 270 people with ulcerative colitis will receive the drug or a placebo to see if it can reduce symptoms and improve their condition. The goal is to find a new treatment option that helps control the disease.
