New bladder cancer treatment tested before surgery

NCT ID NCT05055050

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of an experimental drug called UGN-201 in bladder cancer patients who are scheduled to have their bladder surgically removed. The research involves 10 participants and aims to understand if UGN-201 is safe to give before surgery and whether it might help shrink tumors. Researchers will also look for biological changes in blood, urine, and tumor tissue to learn how the treatment works.
