New heart drug UDP-003 enters first human safety tests

Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether a new drug called UDP-003 is safe in healthy adults and people with heart disease. About 84 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo. The study also looks at how the drug moves through the body and if it might help treat heart conditions like atherosclerosis.
