Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new treatment for adults with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard therapies. The treatment uses specially engineered immune cells from donated umbilical cord blood to target and calm the overactive immune system. The study will check if the therapy is safe and can help patients achieve remission.
