Two drugs vs. one: Real-World test for bowel disease control

NCT ID NCT07442045

Summary

This study looks back at the medical records of 150 adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis (UC) to see which treatment approach worked better in real life. It compares patients who took a pill called upadacitinib by itself to those who took that same pill along with an infusion drug called vedolizumab. The goal is to see which group had better control of their disease symptoms and fewer side effects after 8 weeks of treatment.
