Summary
This study is testing whether an experimental injection called UBT251 can help protect kidney function and reduce body weight in adults who are overweight or obese and have chronic kidney disease. About 180 participants will receive either the UBT251 injection or a placebo (dummy shot) for 24 weeks to see if it safely reduces protein in the urine, a key sign of kidney damage, and leads to weight loss.
