First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new vaccine made from a person's own immune cells. The goal is to teach the immune system to stop attacking the pancreas, so the body can keep making some insulin. Six adults with type 1 diabetes who use insulin and have no other diabetes complications will receive the vaccine and be monitored for safety and immune changes.
