First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests if tirzepatide, a weekly medication for type 2 diabetes, can help adults with type 1 diabetes use an automated insulin pump without counting carbohydrates at meals. About 105 participants in Canada and Switzerland will either receive tirzepatide plus the pump or continue standard care. The goal is to see if tirzepatide can safely maintain good blood sugar control while reducing daily diabetes burden.
