NCT ID NCT07061574
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a low dose of anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) followed by either adalimumab or verapamil can help preserve the body's ability to make insulin in people aged 9 to 21 who were recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The goal is to slow the loss of insulin-producing cells, not to cure the disease. Participants will be monitored for two years to see how well their pancreas still produces insulin.
