Scientists hunt for early warning signs of type 1 diabetes
NCT ID NCT07468474
Summary
This study aims to create a system to identify people at high risk of developing type 1 diabetes. Researchers will follow 340 people—including diabetes patients, their close family members, and healthy adults—for four years. They will collect blood, urine, and stool samples to look for patterns and markers that might predict who will get the disease, with the goal of building a better screening tool.
