Summary
This study tests whether an early injection of tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce brain bleeding, disability, and death in adults aged 50 and older who have had a mild head injury. Participants receive either TXA or a placebo within 3 hours of injury. The goal is to see if this common drug can improve outcomes after a fall or bump to the head.
