First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests if a drug called tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce blood loss during surgery to remove brain tumors. About 102 adults having a craniotomy will receive either TXA or a placebo during the operation. Researchers will compare blood loss and complications between the two groups to see if TXA helps.
