New tool aims to predict who needs help at home after hospital

NCT ID NCT07250243

Summary

This study tested a Turkish version of a questionnaire called the Johns Hopkins In-Room Independence Scale. Researchers gave the questionnaire to 100 adult volunteers with various conditions to see if it reliably measures how well a person can move and care for themselves in their own room. The goal is to help doctors better identify patients who might be at risk of falling or needing extra help after leaving the hospital.
