Inside the tumor: scientists watch chemotherapy reshape breast cancer
NCT ID NCT06533670
First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at how the area around a tumor changes in HER2-positive breast cancer patients during chemotherapy before surgery. Researchers will take samples before, during, and after treatment to track these changes. The goal is to better understand how the tumor responds to chemotherapy, not to test a new drug. About 30 adults with advanced but non-spreading breast cancer will take part.
