NCT ID NCT07395349
First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether leaving out the chest tube after keyhole lung surgery helps patients recover faster and feel less pain. About 300 adults having surgery for lung nodules will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: standard chest tube, one suction, or two suctions without a tube. The main goal is to see if the no-tube approach is safe and reduces the need for further procedures.
