NCT ID NCT07177885

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why over 20% of people with migraine don't get relief from triptan medications. Researchers will compare levels of tryptophan and related substances in the blood of people who respond well to triptans versus those who don't. The study involves 144 adults aged 18 to 50 with migraine. While participants may not benefit directly, the findings could lead to more personalized migraine treatments in the future.
