Suspension training fights frailty in aging men
NCT ID NCT07398092
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week TRX suspension training program could help older men with sarcopenia, a condition of age-related muscle loss. Thirty-six men were split into a group that did the supervised TRX exercises three times a week and a group that did not change their usual activities. Researchers measured changes in strength, balance, walking ability, and certain blood markers to see if the training was a safe and helpful exercise approach.
