First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 12-week TRX suspension training program could improve physical fitness, walking ability, and certain blood markers in older men with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). 36 men aged 65+ were randomly assigned to either the TRX training group or a control group that continued normal activities. The training group did supervised exercises three times a week. The goal was to see if this type of training is a safe and effective way to improve muscle strength, balance, and overall function.
