First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of three drugs (panitumumab, carboplatin, and paclitaxel) given before surgery to women with triple-negative breast cancer whose tumors did not respond to standard chemotherapy. The goal was to shrink the tumor enough to remove less breast tissue. The study involved 43 participants with early-stage breast cancer that had not spread beyond the breast or nearby lymph nodes.
