Summary
This study is testing whether adding the oral chemotherapy drug capecitabine to standard carboplatin-based chemotherapy improves outcomes for patients with early triple negative breast cancer before surgery. The main goal is to see if this combination helps more patients achieve a complete response where no cancer is found in the breast tissue after treatment. Researchers are also checking if the treatment works differently depending on specific genetic features of the cancer.
