CT scan vs biopsy: which best spots pancreatic cancer?
NCT ID NCT07424456
First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares triphasic CT scans with EUS-guided biopsies to see which method more accurately identifies whether pancreatic lesions are benign or malignant. About 50 adults with suspicious pancreatic growths will undergo both tests, and results will be checked against final tissue diagnosis. The goal is to improve non-invasive detection and reduce unnecessary procedures.
