First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is looking at 180 non-diabetic adults with early coronary artery disease to see if a simple blood test called the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index can help predict the severity of artery blockages. Participants will have their TyG index measured and compared to their angiogram results. The goal is to find a better way to identify who might need more aggressive treatment.
