Blood test index may spot hidden heart blockage risk
NCT ID NCT07451860
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will examine the medical records of 200 adults with heart disease who had a special X-ray of their heart arteries. Researchers want to see if a score called the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, which comes from a routine blood test, is higher in people who have a completely blocked artery. The goal is to find a simple way to identify those at higher risk for this serious condition.
