Summary
This trial tests whether an accelerated heart MRI scan, taking only 15 to 20 minutes, can diagnose coronary artery disease as accurately as the standard 45- to 50-minute scan. About 2,000 adults with suspected coronary heart disease will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard or the faster scan. The study will compare clinical outcomes and patient comfort to see if the shorter scan can safely increase access to this non-invasive diagnostic test.
