NCT ID NCT07213336
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether trigger point massage and stretching exercises can help young women with painful periods. Forty-four women aged 18-30 with primary dysmenorrhea took part. They were split into groups: one did only stretching, one added massage, and one had no treatment. The researchers measured pain, menstrual symptoms, and quality of life. The goal was to see if these simple, drug-free methods could reduce discomfort and improve daily life.
