First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether treating severe tricuspid valve leakage can improve kidney function, reduce swelling, and boost physical activity in older adults. About 100 participants will receive a valve repair procedure and be monitored for changes in kidney health, walking ability, and quality of life. The goal is to see if fixing the valve helps the whole body work better.
